Peter Biege • Executive Recruiting Peter Biege, General Manager of Houser Martin Morris, is a native to the Pacific Northwest. He is a proven executive with over 25 years of sales and executive management experience in the information technology industry. Prior to joining Houser Martin Morris, Peter was a partner in Pyramid Technical Services, a Bellevue, Washington, based IT staffing company. While at Pyramid, he served as President and successfully negotiated the acquisition of the company to Cotelligent Corporation, headquartered in San Francisco, California. From 1993 through 1996, Peter was Vice-President and General Manager of InterConnections, a subsidiary of Emulex Corporation, a publicly traded networking and communications company, headquartered in Costa Mesa, California. In addition to his duties at InterConnections, he served as a corporate officer for Emulex. During this tenure he assisted in the transformation and restructuring of Emulex into a leader in the fibre channel industry. Peter has previously held sales and senior management positions at Apple Computer, Honeywell, Crown Zellerbach and Xerox Corporation. At Houser Martin Morris, Peter specializes in senior level executive recruiting with primary emphasis in the technology area. Recent placements include Chief Executive Officer, Vice President of Sales, Vice President of Professional Services, CFO and Vice President of Marketing. He has worked recently with Microsoft, Amazon, Bsquare, Zango, Verdiem, WRQ, BD&A, DocuSign, GoAhead Software, Inxight Software and SnapIn. Peter earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon.Victoria Harris • Law Victoria Harris has been
recruiting top attorney talent for law firms and corporations in the
Pacific Northwest since 1987. Over
the years she has placed many hundreds of associates, partners and
practice groups in local, regional and national law firms, and in house
counsel in companies ranging from Fortune 100s to technology startups. As a head of the
legal search division Houser Martin Morris since 1992, Victoria’s
longstanding relationships in the legal community, extensive proprietary
database and dedicated legal research team combined with her affiliate
relationships with search firms throughout the country provide access to
the broadest range of qualified attorneys.
Victoria works closely with managing partners and corporate

to the NALSC Code of Ethics. Bob Holert • Information Technology • Executive Recruiting Bob Holert is the President and Managing Partner of Houser Martin Morris. Bob spent nine years with the IBM Corporation, three in administration and the last six in sales and marketing. He joined Houser Martin Morris in 1977 with responsibility for the recruitment of management, analytical and technical information systems professionals. In 1982, he became a partner in the firm, and he has functioned in his present role, President and Managing Partner, since 1990. Bob is a graduate of the University of Washington, with his undergraduate studies in Business and his MBA concentration in Finance. He, his wife and their two children reside in Kirkland, Washington. Kathy Holert • Human Resources & Administration Kathy Holert directs the Research Practice for Houser Martin Morris and manages searches in the Human Resources and Administration areas. Her search and research work includes successful senior management and executive searches in a variety of industries. Kathy joined Houser Martin Morris in May of 1996, as the on-site project manager for a local client with a major hiring need in a three-month period. The project was successfully accomplished with Kathy coordinating the interviewing, testing, qualification, and evaluation and hiring of the candidates. Born in New Jersey, Kathy began her career with IBM in Princeton at a Division Headquarters location as Administrative Assistant to the Director of Marketing and was transferred to Seattle to manage a marketing project for IBM at Boeing. Her fifteen years experience with IBM includes project management, marketing to government and large accounts, and technical support and training to IBM regional staff. After leaving IBM, Kathy did consulting to small and start-up businesses, automating their offices, as well as designing their training, marketing and benefits programs. Kathy is a docent with the Bellevue Art Museum and an active volunteer and community member, at both the board and direct volunteer levels. Jerilyn Shearer • Factory Automation, Manufacturing & Engineering Jerilyn Shearer, Factory Automation Specialist at Houser Martin Morris began her international recruiting practice in the machine tool industry with Management Recruiters International in 1984. Her recruiting focus has continued to be in the placement of middle and upper management staff in all job categories of expertise within the factory automation and machine tool product sectors. Clients are international capital equipment and accessory product manufacturers; including lasers, robotics, metrology, and motion control in the United States and Canada. Jerilyn brings added value to her clients because of her specialization and knowledge of the disciplines of the machine tool industry and the long-term relationships she has built with clients and candidates. Jerilyn has earned numerous awards and distinctions during her career, including: Recruiter of the Year, President’s Club, and CSAM certifications with Management Recruiters International. Prior to entering the recruiting industry, Jerilyn was a branch manager for a California-based national temporary help service, which specialized in clerical and engineering services. Jerilyn opened and managed three offices in California and Arizona for this firm. She holds a degree in journalism and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Antioch University in Whole Systems Design. Kristin Stred • Boards, Law Kristin Stred, Vice
President of Houser Martin Morris’s legal division, specializes in
searches for lawyers for law firm and in-house positions and for senior
executives for corporate Boards of Directors.
As a former public company general counsel, Kristin is uniquely
positioned to understand the demands Sarbanes-Oxley has placed on company
Boards for independence and insight.
She specializes in finding directors to bring experience and energy
to Boards, and she and Houser bring credibility to searches and a wide
range of contacts. In our Board search practice, we invest significant
time in getting to know to know company culture and the Board needs, in
order to match particular skill sets, such as financial expertise,
international or technology experience, as well as the leadership
qualities that are the hallmark of great Board members. She has

Course and holds the NACD’s Certificate of Director Education. Joe Verner • Information Technology • Executive Recruiting Joe K. Verner joined Houser Martin Morris in 1983 and acquired an equity ownership in the firm in 1986. He is one of three Principals of Houser Martin Morris, and holds the current title of Senior Vice President. His recruiting career was preceded by twenty years of Information Systems technical and management positions in the insurance and facilities management industries. Senior Associate at Houser Martin Morris, is a native to the Pacific
Northwest. He comes from a
varied background in Sales, IT Support, and Recruiting.
His practice will be Software Engineering and Information
Technology including positions such as C++, Java and .NET Developers,
Windows Internals guru’s, SQL and Oracle database developers and DBA’s,
Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (DW/BI) individuals. Prior to joining
Houser Martin Morris as
a Recruiter, Travis was an IT/Software Recruiter at Volt
Technical Resources where he enjoyed success in the Northwest contract
business unit. He recruited
in the areas of Software Engineering, Business Intelligence/Data
Warehousing, Project Management, Software Testing, and several other
areas. After
having success at his previous recruiting experience, Travis found he had
a passion for the profession and felt the natural progression would be to
join Houser Martin Morris providing permanent placement recruiting
services. Jim Zidar • Sales & Marketing Jim Zidar is a Senior Associate
with Houser Martin Morris responsible for recruiting outstanding
professionals in Sales, Sales Management and Marketing Management for
client companies. Jim
has extensive experience in a variety of sales management and sales
roles. During a career of
30 years with Xerox Corporation, he held a variety of sales positions
including Regional Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Manager of
Government Sales Operations, National Account Manager, and Production
Publishing Manager. As a Regional Sales Manager, Jim developed a
comprehensive, working knowledge of the Northwest’s largest companies
and public sector organizations. He has managed integrated sales teams
supporting a broad customer base, which included providing business
services such as outsourcing and facilities management to client
companies. He has a wealth of experience in strategic account selling
and managing complex sales cycles. Jim’s background in training,
product marketing, and sales management process enabled him to
consistently hire, develop and build winning sales teams. Jim
earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the
University of Dayton. He is a dedicated community leader and a member of
the Bellevue Breakfast Rotary Club, where he has been a both a leader
